Monthly Meeting will be a field trip to Stoney Creek Farm.
We're going to learn everything we can about sustainable living, and how to be Dirt Rich from Olin and Leigh Funderburk.
Since this is a field trip, we are not offering a Zoom option. Please try to join us in person! We are going to meet directly at the farm at 6pm.
The association will provide water, and I highly recommend you bring summer outdoor accessories, like bug spray, sunscreen, a good hat, etc. Look for other cars for parking, it should be obvious and there is plenty. They may direct us to a particular place, so be on the lookout.
The trip is happening rain or shine, there is a covered area just in case. But the weather looks dry as of right now.
The farm also has products for sale like eggs, homemade bread, etc. They only take cash, so please be prepared if you're planning on purchasing anything. I've heard they sometimes have excellent cinnamon roles, just FYI.
Don't trust Google Maps, the turn for their driveway is actually off of Pate Rd. Look for the barn mailbox.
