For our first association meeting of 2022 we are excited to welcome back Brittani Perze. Brittani's water management presentation which included actual photos of local ''water run off'', was a wake up call for better water management practices.
For our Monday, January 10 meeting Brittani will present 'water gardening' and if time permits update us on current Franklin stormwater management practices.
Brittani is the Water Quality Specialist for the City of Franklin Stormwater Management Department. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degree at the University of Tennessee Knoxville in Biosystems Engineering & Soil Science with a watershed minor. She has been with the City of Franklin since early 2016. Her job is to assist in the management of the water quality section of the City’s Stormwater Management Program. In addition she conducts on-site inspections of active construction sites, reviews site plans and stormwater designs for new/re-developments, leads the City’s watershed monitoring operations, and assist in outfall field screenings.
We will only have a virtual option through Zoom this month due to COVID-19 cases. The link will be sent out to membership closer to the meeting date.
